ART!FACTS is back for the winter semester with 4 BRAND NEW online sessions of history, creativity and relaxation!
Sponsored by the Algoma University Student Union (AUSU), the ART!FACTS Social Prescription Program brings together an exploration of heritage objects from the Sault Ste. Marie Museum‘s holdings with arts-based mindfulness activities facilitated by The Art Speaks Project.
Social Prescribing is a holistic approach to wellness that recognizes the positive impact that the arts, culture and other non-clinical supports have on one’s health and wellbeing.
Register now to receive a free program art kit packed with materials for each of the sessions! Note: one kit per Algoma University student (must reside within Ontario) or Sault Ste. Marie community member, while supplies last.
Students will also receive an e-giftcard for every full session they attend, after filling out a brief survey.
